Welcome to Holistic Mums
Holistic Mums is a community project based in Lagmore, Belfast.
We aim to support mothers and mums-to-be at the most crucial years of their babies lives, the early years. We offer a range of holistic wellbeing activities and initiatives throughout the year (check out our events page for upcoming events) but importantly, we offer somewhere mums can go for a listening ear, advice and guidance, friendship and connections with other local mums. At this time of a mum’s life, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic , physical and mental health and wellbeing is of paramount importance, and Holistic Mums wants every mum to know that they are not alone and there is a community of support here for you.
So join us, attend one of our events, speak to one of our volunteers or chat with a local community worker for advice, guidance and support. We are here to help and support you to be the best You and the best mum you can be.
At present we are based in the Colin community, however we are keen to grow our network of support to other communities across Northern Ireland over the coming months and years - Watch this space!

About Us
Holistic Mums is a volunteer-led Community Champions. Established in 2018 as a Colin Neighbourhood Partnership Early Intervention initiative, local volunteers wanted to provide opportunities for mums to find local community support, learn about holistic approaches to wellbeing and connect with other mums in their community. For the past two years, we have delivered a range of Holistic Wellbeing programmes and initiatives to over 60 mums and have recently secured funding to develop a range of new programmes and workshops for new and expectant mums over the next year!
Community Partners
Holistic Mums works in partnership with statutory, community and voluntary organisations such as Colin Neighbourhood Partnership, Colin Sure Start, South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust and many VCSE organisations providing support to mothers and families. We also work with private therapists and organisations offering a range of holistic therapies and wellbeing programmes.
